There is always lots of work to do here, especially when Christmas gets close. I like to make sure all the elves and reindeer take breaks sometimes too. One of my favorite nights every year is Christmas movies night.
We set up a giant movie screen and everyone came in their pajamas! We had all kinds of snacks and treats to enjoy during the show. Mrs. Claus made extra cookies and there was plenty of hot chocolate. The elves brought popcorn, marshmallows, candy canes and lollipops.
Everyone made a big bowl full of snacks to eat. Then we got cozy on pillows and sleeping bags. The elves snuggled together in their little sleighs. It was like the world’s biggest sleepover! That’s when it was time to start our Christmas movie.
It’s Time For Christmas Movies
This year, we had a few… um, problems… with the projector. Can you guess who was operating it? It was Clumsy!
First he turned on the movie and it showed upside down on the screen. Clumsy ran back to the projector to fix it. He stepped on at least ten elves on his way to the projector!
After he worked on it for a minute, we all settled back down. The movie came on again. This time it was too big. It covered the wall and the floor and the ceiling too. We could never watch the movie that way!
Once again, Clumsy tried to fix the projector. The movie was too small! The next time he fixed it, the movie was sideways. Then it was too low, then too high. Clumsy just couldn’t get it right!
Every time he tried to fix it, he stepped on toes and arms and ears and noses. The other elves were ready to see the movie. They were tired of getting stepped on too!
Finally, after a lot of tries, he got it right. When he pushed the button, the movie was just right! We all enjoyed a night off watching our fav Christmas movies.
