Home-made Fort Kit
Thank you for all of your messages so far. It is hard work being Santa. What helps to keep my spirits up are all of your messages. I love to hear from you. It brings such a big smile to my face. It makes me so happy that I wanted to give you something. I want to give you the gift of a gift. A Home-made fort kit gift!
If you are thinking of the perfect Christmas Gift, then look no further. I am going to give you a recipe for a North Pole Fort. You can make this gift at home. You only need a few ingredients. Best of all, it does not cost a lot of money to build.
A North Pole Fort is the perfect Christmas present for your friends. It is also fun to make one for yourself. Here is what you need to do:
How to make a home-made fort kit
Well, first you need to find or make a bag. You can color the outside of the bag by yourself.
Now find two sheets. Ask an adult or older sibling to help you sew loops to the corners. These loops can be strings or pieces of fabric.
Next, place the sheets in the bag. Then, add a flashlight, hooks with suction cups, plastic clamps, rope, and clothes-pins. You could even add a book you like.
And my extra special tip for a great home made fort kit? It’s to make sure there are milk and cookies (or mixings for hot cocoa) in it!
There you have it. That is your very own North Pole Fort Kit. Use the clamps, clothes pins, and hooks to hang the sheets. The loops on the sheets will help. You or your friends can hide inside with the flashlight.
Please don’t hide in there when I come to visit in just a few sleeps. I may get a fright if you are not in your bed. Do you know who loves to build forts? The elves! I can hardly get them to go to bed most nights. When they begin to think about forts, I cannot get them to go to bed ever. They use all of the sheets from their beds.
P.S. Will you make a Fort Kit as a gift? What do you like to put in your fort kit? Leave me a message here to tell me! Or, scroll down to see what nice things other people have done.
